Diptych

This diptych is composed as a passage, a portal. Where, on the one hand, we see a fist hitting the ground and, on the other, the Earth that shoots out with a scream. the Earth, which has the face of a man, and the fist breaks apart under the pressure of its own violence. Because I believe that all violence is doomed to self-destruction. And the effects of the harm we do in nature will ultimately be experienced by all of us, humans. Nature was and will be long after we disappear from this planet. The sculpture was made in 2017 especially for the art bienniale in Florence, the theme of which was "Earth, sustainability and creativity".
