For those who go to the Palace of Marriage to make a vow, it is a symbol of love. For those who walk past THE PROMISE on a stroll, it is a symbol of trust.
I would like THE PROMISE to remind us of the need to give. Let the encounter with the sculpture be a moment of reflection on existence. Each of us creates the environment around us – a home, a family, a community, and eventually, an entire city. What we give to each other shapes our life and our space.
Thanks to the talents of artists, our world becomes more beautiful and better. They are the ones who can express the most important values, dressing them in symbols and the beauty of inspiring form. I am glad that I was able to fund this work, because I believe it will be an inspiration for the people of Białystok and tourists visiting this city.
